DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Morning depart Sydney with Vietnam airlines for Hanoi. On arrival, you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02 : HANOI (B.L.D)
Today city tour includes visits to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Fine Art Museum. Then continue on to the Temple of Literature, Lake of Restored Sword, Hoa Lo Prison. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 03 : HANOI HA LONG BAY SLEEP ON JUNK (B, L, D)
0800 : Pick up at your hotel for Ha Long bay
1215 : Board Huong Hai Junk, check-in registration
1245 : Start cruise
1300 : Have lunch board
1330 : A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach.
1730 : Drinking Vietnamese wine and enjoy sunset.
1930 : Enjoy dinner on board.
2100 : Fishing or relax and spending a night on board.
Day 04 : HA LONG CRUISE HANOI (B, L, D)
A morning cruise to visit Mans Head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat, Bai Tu Long bay
0900 : Brunch on board
1100 : Arrange luggage and check-out
1145 : Arrive Ha Long wharf. Return to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu Pottery Village en-route. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 05 : HANOI HUE (B.D)
Morning free leisure time to explore Hanoi city on your own. Afternoon met back at the hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 06 : HUE (B.L.D)
Morning, take a cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most beautiful pagodas in Viet Nam, built at the end of 16th century. Visit Tu Duc Tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb, the remaining of fascinating old architectural styles. Afternoon visit Royal Imperial Palace a citadel surrounded by large moats. Overnight in Hue.
Day 07 : HUE DA NANG HOI AN (B.L.D)
Morning drive over the mighty Hai Van pass for a whole view of the Pacific Ocean and famous Long Co fishing village. On the way visit Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilisation can be viewed. Then visit the Marble Mountain, which is a fascinating maze of caves and temples, hidden with five sacred marble rocks. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 08 : HOI AN (B.L)
Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the Former Merchant's House, the 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge and the Colourful Market. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 09 : HOI AN DA NANG - SAIGON (B.L.D)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel. Saigon city tour includes the Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, and the Museum of History to see some interesting displays and photographs following the path of the revolution. Then visit the Reunification Palace for a glimpse into the lifestyle of the democratic regime of former South Vietnam. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 10 : SAIGON CU CHI TAY NINH SAIGON (B.L.D)
A full day tour to Cu Chi, located about 70 km from Saigon, where you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, the former stronghold of the Viet Cong with a network of tunnels three levels deep stretching over 200 km. Then visit the the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh with its unique world religion. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 11 : SAIGON VINH LONG (MEKONG) SAIGON (B.L.D)
Morning depart from Saigon and drive overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival, board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Vinh Long. Visit Cai Be floating market, an Old Colonial House, a Rice Corn Factory and taste local specialties for lunch. Return to Saigon in the afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: SAIGON DEPARTURE (B)
Free time until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
