What do I need to know before going to Vietnam?

How can I apply for a visa to Vietnam?

Contact the nearest embassy in your country and apply a visa by yourself. Look in the list of Vietnam embassies in foreign countries. How is my order delivered?

By default, we only send you the email confirmation for your order and some other emails will be sent to inform you the current status of your order. You will not receive paper confirmation, receipt, or tickets.  If you need a paper receipt, contact our customer service using Feedback form.

Without paper receipt, when you check in:

  • For your flight, give the ticket agent your name and flight number. Some airlines accept print-outs of confirmation emails. You also have to provide a government-issued photo ID to identify yourself to the ticket agent (driving license, identification card or something similar). See also the list of airlines that accept checking in without tickets.

  • When you check in for your packages (tours or vacations) or for lodging or for car renting, give the agent print-outs of confirmation emails and your government-issued photo ID.

We send you paper receipt in case you require or:

  • You need paper receipt for business travel expense reports. Check your company policy to know if you need paper receipt or not.

  • If you book a flight and the airline only accept paper receipt (ticket).

  • If you apply for a visa on Traveltosaigon, you will receive your visa for your trip.

Paper receipt will arrive via express delivery service within two business days, excluding weekends and holidays. A nonrefundable $15 shipping and handling fee for paper receipts will be charged, this fee additionally applied to your credit card after we receive your request in case you require or at the time of purchase in other cases.

Which airlines accept checking in without ticket?

There are a lot of airlines accept passengers to check in for their flights without ticket, such as: Alaska Airlines, America West, American Airlines, American Transair, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Midway Airlines, Midwest Express, National Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Trans World Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways.

Can I check the status of my order?

With Traveltosaigon, you can view the status of your placed order at anytime you would like. Go to track order page. Type your billing email address and order number. Click Send Now button to see the status of your order. For security reason, the order status page will not display the details of your order (items, amount, ship-to address, billing address...).

What should I do if my paper receipt is lost or stolen?

If your paper receipt (confirmation, ticket...) are lost or stolen, let us know by calling us at or by email or by using our feedback form. Our sales representative will assist you in reapplying a lost paper receipt.

If paper receipt is flight ticket, in most cases, you will be required to purchase replacement ticket at the newest price. Our sales representative will facilitate the sale of these tickets. After a designated period of time, if your original ticket is not used by anyone, you will receive a credit at the purchase price of the replacement ticket, less than the application fee. This fee varies by airlines but is typically $75.00 per traveler. Each airline has its own rules and policies for issuing replacement tickets. You are committed by these rules and policies and must adhere to them.

If paper receipt is visa, the only way is applying for a new visa but you have to inform us or the nearest Vietnam embassy.

If paper receipt is package (vacation, tour) or lodging or car rental confirmation, please inform us. We will inform the service provider (lodging, packages, rental cars) right after that. If your paper receipt has not been used at that point of time, it will turn invalid and no one can use it. Our sales representative will assist you in getting another paper receipt. Additional shipping and handling fee will be charged when the new paper receipt is delivered.

Can I cancel/change booking or trip arrangement?

In case you need to change your flight arrangements less than 24 hours before the flight, please contact our customer service. For flight ticket changes or cancellations, most fares in Economy/Coach class have an airline-imposed penalty fee of $75 or more per passenger, plus any applicable increase in the fare. Some tickets are non-refundable, but can be applied (for a limited time) toward future travel, less any applicable penalties. Some tickets do not allow changes. These are just estimates. Our agents will calculate final charges.

In case you need to change or cancel your visa application before it is processed, please contact our customer service for assistance. No fee is charged on change, and a little fee is charged on cancellation.
