OVERVIEW

Located in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh, Cu Chi district is now famous around the world as the base for the Vietnamese operation known as the TET Offensive in 1968 with more than 200 km of underground tunnels. The tunnel network provided sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals and social centers and are between 0.5 to 1 m wide, with just enough space for a person to walk along by bending or crawling.

ITINERARY

PROGRAM 1: HO CHI MINH CITY EXCURSION FROM LOTUS PORT
The tour guide will pick up you at Lotus port at 7.00am, we will visit a nice colonial center with broad promenades, squares, French influence buildings, temples and pagodas that should not be missed. Our stops are inclusive of Reunification Palace, War Museum, Jade Emperor Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral. Have lunch at the good restaurant. Then we will stop to visit bustling China Town and Ben Thanh Market. Return to Lotus port Ho Chi Minh at 17.00.

PROGRAM 2: HO CHI MINH CITY AND CU CHI TUNNEL EXCURSION FROM LOTUS PORT
The tour guide will pick up you at Lotus port at 7.00am drive back and stop to visit Cuchi Tunnel system, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Back to Hochiminh city. Have lunch at restaurant. Then we will visit Reunification Palace. If the time is permitted, we will visit BenThanh market, China town. Then we will return the Lotus port at 5.00pm. Finish the tour
